Go-live billing

How your plan duration works for one-time and recurring plans

When does my plan duration actually start?

It depends on your plan type. One-time plans (3-Day, Weekly, Micro/Small/Medium/Large Event, Group 3-Day, Group Weekly, Group 30-Day): your plan duration starts when you go live, NOT when you pay. Take your time setting up, your clock won't tick until your service is live to guests. Monthly recurring plans (Monthly, Property tiers, Group Small/Medium/Large): standard subscription billing. Your subscription is billed monthly starting from checkout.

Why does the 'Plan starts when you go live' message appear?

For one-time plans, we wait to start your billing clock until your service is actually live to guests. This protects you: if you buy on Monday and don't go live until Friday, you don't lose four days of your plan duration. Set up at your own pace.

How do I trigger my plan to start?

Two ways: (1) Click 'Go Live' in your service's Lifecycle Action card (Edit page). (2) Set an event start date, at 4 AM on that date, your service auto-goes-live and your plan duration begins. In both cases, you'll get a notification email confirming your service is live and your plan is now active.

What if I never go live? Do I get charged?

For one-time plans, you've already paid at checkout. Your service stays in setup mode indefinitely, and the clock only starts when you trigger Go Live. There's no automatic refund if you don't activate, but you also don't lose any of your plan duration.

When does my plan expire?

For one-time plans, your plan expires after the number of days in your plan (3 for 3-Day, 7 for Weekly, 30 for Group 30-Day, etc.), counted from when you went live, not from when you paid. After expiration, your service moves to wind-down. You can see your 'Active until' date on your Billing page.

Can I see when my plan started and when it expires?

Yes. Open your Billing page from the Settings menu. Each subscription shows the plan name, start date (or 'Not yet started' if your service is still in setup mode), expiration date, and days remaining.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe, our secure payment processor. All transactions are encrypted and PCI-compliant.
