Can guests install Hostigram as an app?
Yes. Hostigram is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so guests can add the assistant to their home screen straight from their phone's browser, no app store, no download. After opening their assistant link, they can install it for one-tap access throughout their stay.
How do I install Hostigram on my phone?
Open Hostigram in your phone's browser. On Android/Chrome, open the browser menu and choose 'Install app' or 'Add to Home Screen'. On iPhone/Safari, tap the Share button (square with arrow) and select 'Add to Home Screen'. The app icon will then appear on your home screen and launch in full-screen mode.
Is the mobile app different from the website?
It's the same Hostigram, a PWA that runs full-screen and feels native. You get the same features as the web with a faster launch, full-screen experience, and push notification support. Basic navigation works offline once content has loaded, but Hostigram itself needs an internet connection to generate responses.
