Offer paid extras and upsells through Hostigram
What are Guest Services?
Guest Services let you list paid extras you offer to guests, early check-in, airport pickup, private chef, bike rental, romantic setup, and more. Once added, Hostigram automatically mentions them when a guest asks about a related topic, including the price and a payment link if you provide one. Hostigram does not process the payment itself; you paste any external payment URL (Venmo, PayPal, Stripe, etc.).
Where do I manage Guest Services?
Open any hosting service and go to the 'Guest Services' tab (next to Knowledge base, Media, Guest access, and Settings). The page has two parts: a template gallery grouped by category (Convenience, Experiences, Rentals, Special Occasions) for one-click adding of common offerings, and a list of your active services where you can edit or remove each one. Use '+ Add custom service' to create something not covered by a template.
What fields does a Guest Service have?
Each service has a name, description, price (display text like '$50' or 'From €25'), an optional numeric price amount, an optional payment URL, an optional availability note (e.g. '24h advance notice required'), and a category. Only the name is required. The display text is shown to guests as-is, so you can write whatever currency or wording you want.
How does Hostigram use Guest Services in chats?
Active Guest Services are injected into Hostigram's context for every conversation on that hosting service. When a guest asks about a relevant topic, for example, 'can I check in early?', Hostigram will share the service details, including price and a clickable payment link if you've added one. If a guest asks 'what extras do you offer?', Hostigram lists all active Guest Services. Hostigram never invents services that aren't in your list.
Are there limits on how many Guest Services I can add?
Free accounts can have up to 2 active Guest Services per hosting service. Any paid plan unlocks unlimited Guest Services. The Guest Services tab shows a counter ('X active guest services') and blocks new activations on the free tier once the limit is reached, with a prompt to upgrade. You can still keep services saved as inactive beyond the limit.
Where do I edit or delete a Guest Service?
From the Guest Services tab, click 'Edit' on any active service to open a dedicated edit page (/service/:serviceId/edit-guest-service/:id) where you can update all fields. Deleting uses a one-click confirmation. Adding a custom service opens its own page (/service/:serviceId/add-guest-service), both flows are full pages rather than modals to ensure reliable rendering on every device.
