Property management
Manage properties, groups, and event hosting services
Can I manage multiple hosting services?
Free accounts can create up to 2 hosting services (property, group, or event). With a paid subscription, you can create more and benefit from volume discounts: 2 services (5% off), 3 (10% off), 4 (15% off), 5 (20% off), and 6+ (25% off). Switch between hosting services easily from the property list.
What are Groups and Events?
Groups are for shared accommodations (hostels, co-living, retreats) where multiple guests share a space. Events are for one-time gatherings (weddings, conferences, parties). Each type has specialized features, Groups support coordinators and member management, while Events have attendance calculators and time-limited access.
What are Action Links?
Action Links are contextual URLs that Hostigram shares with guests when relevant. For example, you can add a link to your restaurant booking page with the trigger 'dinner reservation', and Hostigram will present it as a rich card whenever a guest asks about dining. You can set links as proactive (Hostigram suggests them) or reactive (shared when asked). Free accounts get 2 active links; Starter gets 5, Standard 15, and Premium unlimited.
How do I send updates to my guests?
Use the 'Broadcast Update' form on your hosting service page to send real-time updates to all active guests. Updates appear in the guest's notification bell panel. You can set priority to 'Normal' or 'Urgent', and optionally save the update to your knowledge base so Hostigram can reference it in future conversations. This feature requires an active guest link.
How do I track guest interactions?
Your Host Dashboard shows total sessions, messages sent, and active guests per service. On each service’s Knowledge Base page, the Guest Insights panel reveals the most-asked topics and questions Hostigram couldn’t answer, so you know exactly what to add. Full analytics require an active subscription.
Can I test what guests see?
Yes! Click the 'Test Assistant' button on any hosting service page to see exactly what your guests experience. This lets you test Hostigram's responses, verify Action Links appear correctly, and ensure everything works before sharing with guests. Testing is available on all plans, including free.
What are knowledge base limits?
Limits depend on your plan tier. Free: up to 10 knowledge items. Starter: 100 items. Standard: 500 items. Premium: 999 items. Group and Event plans: 200 items. Your dashboard shows color-coded progress bars, blue when under 80%, amber at 80 to 99%, and red when you've reached the limit. You can always edit or remove existing items regardless of your plan.
